Labor Spending in 2008

Since it appears Ryan at Under the Dome is starting to detail labor spending in NC campaigns in 2008, I thought I'd go ahead and get the numbers out there that I have.  These numbers include all independent expenditures, contributions to 527 groups that ran ads in NC exclusively (Alliance for NC) and contributions to candidates and state party committees.

NEA - $1,905,194 (all to either Perdue, the NC Dem Party or the Alliance for NC to help Perdue)
SEIU - $1,628,574
Teamsters - $325,117
NCAE - $254,830
UFCW - $112,000
IBEW - $36,500
CWA - $13,500
UAW - $9,000

Total: $4,284,715

(One note, this total does not include SEANC who has decided to not comply with NC law and disclose its contributors.)
