Funny, here I thought the voters of North Carolina already selected a group "to identify inefficiencies and develop options" regarding the state budget. Why do we need a special "commission" to do the job the Governor and General Assembly is already supposed to be doing?
Want to find inefficiencies and waste? Gee, I dunno, maybe you could start by reducing the number of commissions, boards and committees in state government.
Oh the irony.
